Although LeBron James and Stephen Curry are rivals on the court, they have a friendly relationship outside of basketball. And as we’ve seen previously over the years, the duo still can cheer for each other’s achievements.
James added to that narrative on Saturday by quote tweeting a video of Curry’s iconic hole in one from this weekend’s American Century Classic at South Lake Tahoe.
The video shows Curry going absolutely wild after draining the shot. He ran all across the hole with his hands raised.
James tweeted a simple but fiery reaction to Curry’s hole in one. The Lakers star clearly was impressed, as he included 16 fire emojis in his tweet saluting the Warriors’ star guard.
Curry drained his shot on the par-3 seventh hole at Edgewood Tahoe South, which was playing at 152 yards. After Saturday’s round, Curry was atop the leaderboard with 50 points in the modified Stableford format. He earned eight points for the hole in one.
